This private house is deeply integrated into the site. The planted roof will visually blend the form into its natural environment, while managing storm water and providing additional insulation. The rooms are open to the south, and screened at the east and west exposures to maximize connection to the site and provide seasonal solar control. All materials are natural and locally sourced.
